I am a Prime Minister Research Fellow (PMRF) at the Indian Institute of Science, currently engaged in the Lab of Imaging Sciences (LISA) within the Department of Electrical Engineering, IISc, under the guidance of Prof. Kunal Narayan Chaudhury.
My research lies at the intersection of computational imaging, inverse problems, optimization, and machine learning. I develop reconstruction algorithms that are both practically effective and mathematically robust, with a focus on integrating learned models into iterative reconstruction methods without compromising stability or interpretability. Much of my recent work focuses on deep denoiser-driven regularization, trainable nonexpansive denoisers, and stable iterative algorithms for inverse problems such as image deblurring and super-resolution.
Before joining IISc, I completed my masterβs in Mathematics at IIT Kanpur, where I worked on embeddings of graphs on higher-dimensional manifolds under the supervision of Prof. Bidyut Sanki. I continue to have a broader interest in topology and related topics.
